Product detailed description
About
An elegant black brush made of hand-worked beech with wild boar and ionic copper wire bristles is designed for effective dry brushing of the whole body for perfectly radiant skin. With a black leather strap for comfortable use.
Method of use
Ensure the brush is dry and clean. When used wet, the copper bristles could become patinated over time. Body brushing is ideal before showering or using the sauna, as it opens up detoxification pathways. After brushing, the skin may be slightly pinkish but should not be red or burning. If you feel discomfort, reduce the pressure. Avoid sensitive areas such as the face and inflamed, problematic, damaged, or sunburnt skin. For best results, make body brushing part of your daily routine. Many people find brushing refreshing and prefer to do it in the morning, but evening hours are also suitable. These instructions are general - always listen to your body and adjust the brushing to your needs. The brush is suitable for most skin types. If you have particularly sensitive skin, use gentle pressure.
Full Body Dry Brushing Ritual
Always start by brushing your legs, then your arms, and finally finish with the abdomen and underarms. This ensures that you brush all areas of your body and maximizes the benefits. Brush each part of the skin with gentle, smooth strokes about ten times.
- Legs: Use long, smooth upward strokes from the feet towards the heart. This direction promotes the natural flow of the lymphatic system and facilitates detoxification.
- Arms: Start at the palms of your hands and brush upwards towards the underarms, using firm, short strokes.
- Abdomen and armpits: Brush in a clockwise circular motion.
- After brushing, take a shower to wash away dead skin cells, ideally using Yarrow Bath Oil. Alternate between hot and cold water to improve blood circulation.
Our tip: After showering, dry your skin and apply Skinny Inny Body Oil to increase the anti-cellulite effect, or Daisy Body Oil for overall pampering and beautifying the skin and to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, or Melissa Body Balm for intensive rejuvenation of dry and sensitive skin.
Benefits of dry brushing
Discover the secret of radiant skin
Try the power of a simple yet effective body brush. It gently exfoliates dead skin cells, promotes their renewal, and reveals soft, smooth skin. Brush helps against cellulite. You’ll notice skin rejuvenation within a few minutes of use. For even better results, complement your routine with a shower or bath to enhance the effects of exfoliation and thoroughly cleanse the skin.
Ionic copper bristles for an energizing experience
Our brush goes beyond ordinary exfoliation thanks to its unique ionic copper bristles. These bristles work harmoniously with the body, releasing negative ions, providing enhanced protection against free radicals, boosting health, promoting body detoxification, and optimizing lymphatic drainage.
Accelerates lymphatic drainage
Each time you use a body brush, it revitalizes your skin and accelerates lymphatic drainage, effectively facilitating the elimination of toxins from your body.
Smooths cellulite
Consistent dry brushing can be a crucial ally in dissolving fat deposits under the skin, reducing the appearance of cellulite. Dry brushing stimulates the skin and subcutaneous tissues, improving blood circulation.
How to clean the brush
Regular brush cleaning not only prolongs its life but also prevents the spread of bacteria to the skin. It is normal for bristles to fall out during the first few uses.
- Remove loose dirt: After each use, gently tap the brush against a hard surface to loosen dead skin cells or other particles.
- Soak in warm, soapy water: Every few weeks, fill your sink or a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of mild soap. Dip the brush bristles into the water and gently wash them.
- Gently scrub the bristles: If any residue remains, gently scrub the bristles using an old toothbrush or similar tool. Avoid wooden parts, as water and soap can damage the wood over time.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the brush under warm running water, making sure to remove all soap to prevent it from settling.
- Dry: Gently dry the bristles with a clean towel.
- Air dry: Allow the brush to air dry or gently blow dry with a hairdryer. Lay the brush with the bristles face down to allow excess water to drain and the bristles to dry completely.
With proper care, a copper body brush will last you a long time. If you notice significant wear or damage to the bristles, replace the brush to maintain its effectiveness. For hygiene reasons, do not share the brush with others. Body brushes are designed for individual use to prevent the possible spread of bacteria or skin infections.
