Product detailed description
Late autumn and spring are the ideal times to sow the meadow.
Sowing instructions
- Mix the contents of the bag thoroughly before sowing.
- Sow the meadow shallowly, to a maximum depth of 5 mm, in limed, compacted and weed-free soil. Do not fertilise before sowing.
- Divide the seeds in half and sow each half separately in a cross.
- Rake the sown seeds shallowly and roll over them.
- Mow the flowering meadow 1 to 3 times a year, preferably with a flail mower or drum mower, or with a scythe, to a height of 4 to 5 cm.
- In the year of sowing, the grasses grow mainly and the wildflowers take root. You will start to see the complete meadow in the second or third year after sowing.
Seeds can also be sown in an outdoor pot, gently press them into the soil and water regularly. Place the pot in a sunny location.
Store the seed mix in a sealed container in a dry place. 50 g of seeds will be sufficient for 12,5 m² of colourful paradise for bees, butterflies and other insects.
