Princess Nely and the Mystery of the Mint Feather fairytale book
Product detailed description
The second book about Princess Nely tells the story of yet another one of her exciting adventures. The central character is again six-year-old Nely, who lives at Chateau Mcely. One morning Nely wakes up to a truly extraordinary day. A strange visitor arrives at the chateau and sets off a cascade of exciting events. Nely uses everything she has learned so far, not only about herbs and birds, but also about the decent treatment of living creatures, to cope with the events of the morning, which have taken an unexpected turn.
Inéz Cusumano, the founder of Chateau Mcely, has written another adventure-filled story featuring the chateau’s resident princess, Nely. As with the first book, Inéz took inspiration from her daughter’s vivid imagination. During a stay in the mountains, she dreamt of a cute little bird with mint leaves instead of feathers. In the evening, before she went to bed, she had been chewing spearmint gum and seemingly had mixed similar-sounding words in her dream - sparrow and mint. Thus was born the Mint Sparrow, a sparrow with mint feathers. This time, it was Inéz’s turn to let her imagination run wild, and for several years she and her daughter worked together to create the story. Both have always had a great passion for birds and like to escape into the world of imagination. With the help of the talented artist Alena Holá’s delightful illustrations, they have produced a beautiful storybook.
